Alanna Ubach is joining the cast of the HBO Max series The Flight Attendant, which is currently shooting season two in California.
The actress, who’s recognizable to fans for her current role in Euphoria and starring alongside Reese Witherspoon in several films, including the Legally Blonde franchise, will have a guest starring role in the upcoming new season of The Flight Attendant, according to Deadline.
The series is led by cast regulars Kaley Cuoco, Zosia Mamet, Griffin Matthews, Deniz Akdeniz and Rosie Perez, and new series regulars Mo McRae, Callie Hernandez and JJ Soria.

The acclaimed black-comedy mystery-thriller also features returning recurring guest stars T.R. Knight, Yasha Jackson and Audrey Grace Marshall.
Ubach, 46, will be joining a growing list of new recurring guest stars such as Cheryl Hines, Jessie Ennis, Mae Martin, Margaret Cho, Santiago Cabrera and Shohreh Aghdashloo.
Developed by Steve Yockey and based on the 2018 novel of the same name, season one of The Flight Attendant follows Cassie Bowden (Cuoco), an American flight attendant who’s a reckless alcoholic who drinks during flights and spends her time having sex with strangers, including her passengers.
Life takes a big turn for Cassie when she wakes up in a hotel room in Bangkok with a hangover from the night before, and discovers the dead body of a man who was on her last flight lying next to her with his throat slashed.

Mystery: Cassie (Cuoco) sees her life take a dramatic turn when she wakes up and discovers a dead man, who was on her last flight, lying next to her and no recollection of what happened
Panicked and with no idea of what happened, Cassie decides to clean up the crime scene and then catch a flight from Bangkok back to New York City, where she’s greeted by FBI agents.
As the story transpires, Cassie suffers intermittent flashbacks and hallucinations, all while she wonders who the killer could be.
Season two reportedly finds Cassie living a sober life in Los Angeles while moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time. But things change when an overseas assignment leads her to inadvertently witness a murder, and thus, becoming entangled in another international intrigue.
Ubach will play Carol Atkinson, also known as Black Market Carol, a well-groomed flight attendant, with an icy personality who is not a fan of Cassie.

The first season, consisting of eight episodes, debuted back in November 2020, and went on to get a quick greenlight for a second season just a month later.
With season two currently under production, it is now slated to premiere on HBO Max in the spring of 2022.
Ubach is best known to many fans for starring alongside Reese Witherspoon in such films as Freeway (1996), Legally Blonde (2001), and Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde (2003), as well as Meet The Fockers (2004), and she provided the voice of four characters in the Oscar-winning animation Ranger (2011).
Her voice role resume for television also includes El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera (2007-2008), Puppy Dog Pals (2017), Welcome to the Wayne (2017-2019) , Crossing Swords (2020) and Monsters At Work (2021).
She’s also recognizable for playing Suze Howard on the hit HBO drama Euphoria (2019-present), as well such acclaimed series as Hung (2009) and Californication (2013).
