The former couple announced their separation  in early 2020 as the TV presenter came out as gay.

The TV star called their relationship a ‘work in progress’ earlier this year and insisted they hadn’t discussed divorce.

Late last year, the host admitted he is ‘not fixed in any way’ and he still has to ‘come to terms’ with his life after publicly coming out as gay in February.

Talking about his family on BBC Radio 5 Live, the Dancing On Ice star said: ‘We love each other massively. We are a loving family, that hasn’t changed… it’s us four but different.’

Alan Carr was his typical flamboyant self as he headed out partying after his husband Paul Drayton was told in court earlier this week he could face prison for drink driving crash with police car.

Paul, 50, was accused of drink-driving after he reversed into a police car, narrowly missing a mother pushing a pram, while in his Mitsubishi 4×4 in West Sussex last month, just three miles from the £2.7 million home he shares with Alan, 45.

Originally, he denied the charge but admitted his guilt at Brighton Magistrates’ Court. The case has been adjourned for sentencing.
