Mr Thomson said he did not believe the person was in any way connected to the school.

‘As some of you may already be aware, a deceased person was found on our school grounds over the long weekend,’ he said in a letter to parents.

‘At this stage we do not believe the person had any connection to our school. I cannot provide any further details at this point and the Queensland Police Service is currently investigating.’

The Queensland Police Service has launched an investigation and say they are not treating the death as suspicious.
