Police have seized more than four million videos and photos of child abuse after arresting a man accused of being Australia’s ‘worst paedophile’.
West Australian Police on Wednesday announced they had hit a 47-year-old Perth man with 400 charges.
Officers kicked in the door of his home and workplace after receiving a tip off in July last year.
Investigators seized multiple computers and hard drives alleging the man had sexually abused 24 boys and girls over a six-year period.

A forensic examination of all electronic devices is now underway spearheaded by detectives from Operation Chaco – a clandestine operation set up to investigate the horrific allegations against the man.
Police they have identified 24 alleged victims who were sexually abused between 2015 and 2021.
He is now facing 240 counts of indecent dealing with a child under 13, a further 98 counts of indecently recording a child under 13 and 44 more counts of sexually penetrating a child under 13.
WA Police Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team also claim they have uncovered 3.8 million videos and images on his digital devices that have resulted in 26 counts of possessing child abuse material and five counts of procuring child abuse material.
The man is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on April 22.
