Influencer’s holiday hell as she’s unable to shop at Dior after being scammed by an ATM in Italy… before calling daddy to foot the bill: ‘He came to the rescue so I spoiled myself!’
An Australian influencer had to call her father for help after being ‘scammed’ by an ATM while on vacation in Italy.
Bella Varelis, 27, wasn’t able to splash out at a Dior store after a dodgy cash machine stole her holiday savings.
But her daddy ‘came to the rescue’ by wiring over some emergency funds, which allowed her to ‘spoil herself’ on holiday.

The Bachelor contestant, who is travelling through Europe with her boyfriend Will Stokoe, documented her ordeal on Instagram on Monday.
Ms Varelis told her 110,000 followers she’d been saving up for a lavish purchase but couldn’t get the items she desired after losing her money.
But luckily her father back home was able to transfer cash at short notice, and she later shared a photo of herself trying on items at the Dior store.
‘I saved up so much before I left so I could spoil myself with something special on the trip, and then I got scammed by an ATM the other day and ended up feeling pretty disheartened,’ she explained.Â

‘But dad ended up coming to the rescue so I decided to still spoil myself… and today is the day hehe,’ she added.Â
Bella then shared pictures of herself trying on some Dior bags, writing: ‘Some of the options.’
Before jetting to Italy, Bella and Will enjoyed a trip to Paris.Â

Last month, Bella shared the heartbreaking reason why she took a break from social media recently during a Q&A with her Instagram followers.
She said she hit ‘rock bottom’ in recent weeks after a fan asked why she had been ‘distant’ online.
She began: ‘Honestly, I’ve been dealing with a lot of inner demons and I hit a really low point in the last couple of weeks.
‘There’s a lot of what I’ve been through I will keep to myself, but basically moving house for me was a huge positive change for me mentally, and I don’t even recognise the person I was at my last place and it all caught up to me.’
Bella said she’s been doing a lot of ‘work on herself mentally’, but added: ‘I have been the saddest I’ve ever felt in my life, but sometimes it takes you hitting rock bottom in order for you to work your way back up.’
She added that she decided to open up to her followers because she ‘loves and cherishes the little family we’ve created on here’.
‘Not because I need or want sympathy, because I want to normalise talking about mental health and I don’t want to be showing you a false sense of reality when I’m not positive and bubbly all the time,’ she went on.
