Bethenny added that her charity BStrong had recently been focused on the ‘homelessness crisis’ and would be donating 1,500 ‘holiday kits’ to homeless individuals, though the charity would now be accepting donations for Astroworld victims.

She didn’t give any details as to how the rest of the funds raised would be disbursed, and the charity’s website says more information is forthcoming.

She found herself ruminating on the deadly events because she thought they were preventable.

‘It’s so tragic…. when something so unnecessary could have been avoided, I obsess incessantly about how to change the course of events,’ she wrote.

In another tweet, she noted that her charity was started in Houston in the wake of Hurricane Harvey in August 2017.

‘This is terribly upsetting,’ she said of the Astroworld tragedy. ‘Hopefully we can help in some small meaningful way. We are focused on a homeless effort but taking time to shift focus here for a moment as it’s horrific.’

Blount was at Astroworld with his father and was sitting on his father’s shoulders to stay above the crowd, according ABC 13 in Houston.

But as the crowd surged and people began to fall all around him, his father eventually lost consciousness, causing Ezra to fall into the crowd, where he was kicked and trampled repeatedly.

He was separated from his father and taken to a hospital, which his family only found out after calling around. They learned he was in a medically induced coma to reduce brain swelling, and had also suffered major organ damage.

Ezra’s family and civil rights attorney Ben Crump are now suing Travis Scott and LiveNation for his injuries and for being forced to see others be injured and killed, according to documents obtained by TMZ.

Even if the boy should survive his injuries, the documents claim they will alter his ‘ability to grow and thrive.’
