Bradley Cooper cuts a casual figure as he leaves his office in NY… after he was seen comforting Will Smith at the Oscars following THAT shocking slap

Bradley Cooper looked relaxed as he was spotted leaving his office in New York on Wednesday.

The Nightmare Alley star, 47, donned a black and white Adidas windbreaker, $245 Cotton Citizen black ‘Bronx’ pants, and well-worn sneakers with red shoelaces for the day.

The casual outing comes after he attended Sunday’s Oscars at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, where he was pictured comforting actor Will Smith, 53, with a pep talk and a hug following his onstage assault of comedian Chris Rock, 57.

The actor sported his thick brunette hair with a slight wave in a casual cool swept-back do.

Staying hydrated during the outing, he carried a bottle of Essentia water in his hand.

The actor looked serious while navigating the New York City streets, though he did crack a smile at one point.

Bradley was not nominated for Best Actor at the Academy Awards this year, but he was still nominated in the Best Picture category, as he’s also a producer on Guillermo del Toro’s film Nightmare Alley.

While attending the show, Cooper was spotted comforting Smith after he stormed the stage and slapped Rock over a joke he made about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, 50, being bald.

The moment between the two actors was captured and shared to Twitter by The Hollywood Reporter’s columnist Scott Feinberg during a commercial break.

Smith was first seen being comforted by Denzel Washington, 67, and Tyler Perry, 52. He later said during his Best Actor speech that Washington told him, ‘At your highest moment, be careful — that’s when the devil comes for you.’

Cooper was then seen putting both his hands on Smith’s shoulders while giving him a pep talk, after which he pulled the King Richard star into a hug.

Prior to the commercial break, Rock took the stage to present the Academy Award for Best Documentary.

Before announcing the nominees, the comedian joked, ‘Jada, I love you, G.I. Jane 2, can’t wait to see it.’

Smith was seen laughing off the joke at first, but Pinkett Smith, 50 – who suffers from alopecia – rolled her eyes at the quip.

The camera then caught the I Am Legend star going up onstage and slapping Rock. When he returned to his seat he proceeded to yell, ‘Keep my wife’s name out of your f*****g mouth’ twice.

Less than an hour later, Smith won the Best Actor award for his portrayal of Richard Williams – father of tennis legends Serena and Venus.

Smith issued a public apology to Rock on Monday evening – saying that his behavior was ‘unacceptable and inexcusable’.

The Academy plans to meet Wednesday night, where Smith’s fate could be decided.
