At least 200 students of an Islamiyya school located at Tegina in the Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State have been kidnapped by heavily armed men believed to be armed bandits.
The incident, which happened at about 4.30 pm on Sunday left one person dead while the other sustained an injury.
Zayyad Mohammed, a resident who confirmed the incident to Channels Television said the Islamic school belongs to a retired officer of the Nigerian Immigration Service.
Further details about the incident are still vague as at the time of filing this report.
This abduction comes 24 hours after 14 students and a staff of Greenfield University were released after spending weeks in captivity of armed bandits.
