Breaking! Atiku Abubakar’s son contracts Coronavirus, moved to hospital

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 general election has confirmed that one of his children has contracted the rampaging Coronavirus.

Atiku took to his Twitter handle late on Sunday night to share the news and revealed that the patient had been admitted at the Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital in Abuja for treatment.

The doting father also requested prayers for the quick recovery of his sons while admonishing Nigerians to stay safe as Coronavirus is real.

My son has tested positive to coronavirus. @NCDCGov has been duly informed, and he has been moved to Gwagwalada Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for treatment and management. I will appreciate it if you have him in your prayers. Stay safe, coronavirus is real. -AA

Atiku is  the first high-profile Nigerian to come out and admit that the virus has infected a member of his immediate family.
