The National Center for Disease Control in Nigeria has confirmed 566 fresh cases of COVID-19 as at 29th of June.
There has been a radically surge in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country in the past few weeks as the total number now stands at 25,133.
This latest update was made known to the public via the official Twitter handle of the body a few minutes ago with Lagos State for the upteenth time having the highest number of cases for the day with 166.

The Federal Government announced today that it has extended the gradual easing of lockdown by another four weeks despite the rapid increase in the number of cases.
