The past few days has seen a high rise in COVID-19 cases in the country as the country continues in her endeavours to contain the Pandemic.
The National Center for Disease Control has confirmed 490 new cases of COVID-19 which brings the country’s toll to 17,184.
Lagos State for the upteenth time still had the highest number of fresh cases with 142, the Federal Capital Territory has 60, Bayelsa with 54 while Rivers has 39 new cases. See details here š

On the flip side, the NCDC said it’s aware of a UK Government funded clinical trial for COVID-19 and the result suggest Dexamethasaone as one of the possible treatment to reduce deaths among patients especially those that requires oxygen or mechanical ventilation
