Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases continues to rise despite conscious efforts by the Government to contain the spread of the Pandemic.
The National Center for Disease Control via its verified twitter handle confirmed that the country has now recorded 229 new COVID-19 cases across the country.
Lagos State still leads with highest number of cases with 90, while Katsina and Imo States recorded 27 and 26 cases respectively.

With this latest development, the total number of cases in the country is 8068 with 233 deaths and 2311 recoveries across the state.
As it stands, Cross River remains the only state without any confirmed case in the country.
