The news is that President Buhari was decorated with the Highest Honour of Niger Republic by President Mahamadou Issoufou.

This was done the Aso Rock Abuja Federal Capital Territory (FCT)

This was confirmed by the Government of Nigeria official Twitter account and Personal Assistant on New Media to the President Bashir Ahmad who said in a statement.

“President @MBuhari has been decorated with the Highest Honour of Niger Republic by President Mahamadou Issoufou this afternoon, at the State House, Abuja.”
