Buhari’s account still active while First Lady Aisha deactivates Twitter account in response to ban
There is news about the ban on microblogging site Twitter by the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The President Muhammadu Buhari administration on Friday, June 4th announced that the operation of Twitter in Nigeria is suspended indefinitely.
In accordance, First Lady Aisha Buhari Minutes to midnight announced that she was leaving Twitter.
She announced her departure from Twitter in a post on her official account.
The message said, “I will be deactivating my Twitter account for now. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
Shortly after she posted the message she promptly deleted her account.
However, the official account of President Muhammadu Buhari is still active
