Burna Boy receives Grammy Plaque for Best Global Music Album
There is news about Nigerian singer, songwriter, rapper, and dancer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy.
Burna Boy on Thursday, June 10th received the plaque for his Best Global Music Album.
At the 2021 Granny awards Burna Boy won an award for the Best Global Music Album for his Twice as Tall body of work.
He posted pictures of him and the award.
Along with the pictures was a message that said, “Early Morning deliveries from across the pond! šŖ
“My parents prayed for excellent children, not houses, cars or āthingsā. They asked my sisters for stellar degrees; one got a first class in Finance, the other got a Distinction in Engineering. They asked me for a Grammy, and here we are. I am a product of sacrifice! Thank God and thank you all again! ā¤ļø
