#Coronavirus: If you love yourself, stay at home – Pastor Adeboye tells Nigerians!

The Senior Pastor and General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church óf God: Pastor Adeboye has call on Nigerians to stay at home during the on going lockdown in most of the country as the Coronavirus Pandemic rages on.

Pastor Adeboye made this remark while giving a sermon titled “Power” which was broadcast online nationwide. The preacher enjoined Nigerians to obey the lockdown other given by President Buhari on the 30th of March.

According to his words, the the cleric said that:

“There are categories of power. There is political power. Ecclesiastes 8:4 says where the word of a king is, there is power. You put it in the modern language, where the word of the President is, there is power.”

“If you don’t believe that, just check what is happening now. The President sits in his house and makes a decree or pronouncement, everybody stay at home, and if you love yourself, stay at home.”

Some other states have also joined the likes of Lagos, Ogun a d the Federal Capital Territory in issuing a lockdown in the past few weeks to help in the fight of the Pandemic.

As at yesterday, the total number of Coronavirus cases in the country stands at 1182.  A total number of 222 people have fully recovered while 35 people have died so far.
