Nigeria, on Tuesday recorded 144 new COVI-19 cases and five more deaths across the country’s 12 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

This was said in a post on the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Facebook page on Wednesday morning.

According to the data, Nigeria’s total pandemic infection is now at 213,321 people, with 2,973 people dying as a result.

According to the disease centre, 206,206 Nigerians have been released across the country.

The additional instances included a backlog from Plateau, Lagos, and the FCT, with 20, 17, and 16 Covid-19 cases reported for November 15th, respectively.

It went on to say that the FCT has reported 269 recoveries, including community discharges for November 15 and 16, 2021.

In addition to the backlog of cases recorded in Plateau, Lagos, and the FCT, the new data indicated that Imo State in the southeast reported 38 new instances.

Also, Kwara and Zamfara states each reported 15 instances; Ondo, seven; Rivers, five; Tarabe, four; and Oyo State, three.

Bauchi State recorded two occurrences, while Edo and Ekiti each reported one.

On Tuesday, the NCDC recorded no instances in four states: Katsina, Ogun, Osun, and Sokoto.
