Dawn Ward, star of the REAL Housewives of Cheshire, has broken her silence after being exonerated of screaming racial insults at two Jewish brothers in a drunken frenzy.
At London’s Euston Station, the Wag, who is married to ex-Premier League footballer Ashley Ward, was accused of tearing into Jake and Sam Jacobs.
“You Jewish c***,” Ward, 48, is accused of shouting. What is it about you people that you are continually whining about? “You obese p***k,” says the narrator.
The businesswoman, whose daughter Taylor is married to Manchester City midfielder Riyad Mahrez, was also accused of concealing cocaine in a cigarette package.
Ward, on the other hand, was exonerated of racially aggravated intentional harassment and cocaine possession yesterday.
Today, the TV personality resorted to Instagram to express her gratitude to people who supported her during the trial.
She described the trial as the “most stressful and horrific time of her life” in an emotive post.
“I have some very fantastic friends and family, of various races and religions, who have supported me without question, and I shall be eternally thankful to all of them,” it continues.
“I was found guilty by 12 diligent jurors who did not leave any stone unturned in their pursuit of justice.”
“I am still prone to tears and am crying as I type this message,” she added.
“I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get over this.”
“Anyone who even vaguely knows me knows I stand for equality of race, religion, and sexuality, and I will continue to live my life according to these beliefs and encourage my children to do the same,” the reality star concluded in the statement.
“Thank you so much,” she told the jurors when the verdict was read yesterday.
She then told The Sun: “This has been the most awful circumstance I’ve ever been in. I’m so relieved it’s finished. My entire family has been through three years of agony.
“This week, my husband has been a huge help, and my legal team has been fantastic.”
This was a severe accusation, yet racism and drugs are two things I strongly oppose.
“I’ll be eternally grateful to the jury for knowing I was telling the truth after hearing everything for a week.”
“I can’t wait to be home with my kids and get on with the rest of my life,” she says. “I’m overjoyed and overjoyed.”
On the night of the alleged racially motivated attack, she was “drinking heavily,” according to the court.
Both brothers were inquiring as to why the trains were running late when Ward approached them and stated, “Why do you guys constantly complain?”
“At the moment, you would wonder why,” prosecutor Gregory Wedge said, “but she was referring to their Jewish beliefs.”
“They mostly ignored it, but the altercation escalated, and she grew angry, calling Jake a fat c*** and a Jewish p***k or something along those lines.”
“She slaps Jake Jacobs across the face during this disagreement or heated discussion.”
“This episode offended both of them, so they called the cops, and Mrs Ward was arrested as a result.”
Ward claimed the dialogue was “pleasant” and the slap was a “playful tap on the face,” according to the court.
She also stated that she did not use “racially inflamed words.”
The prominent interior designer claimed she had no idea the Jacobs brothers were Jewish, nor did Sam’s girlfriend Samantha Eisner.
She was also accused of “hiding her bigotry” by allowing her daughter Taylor to marry and have a child with Mahrez, she told the court.
