Death rumour: Ebenezer Obey says “I’m alive, hale and hearty” (Video)

Contrary to the viral news of his purported death in London, Evangelist Ebenezer Fabiyi Obey, the veteran juju musician also known as Chief Commander, has confirmed that he is alive, hale and hearty.
This was confirmed in a video shared by one of his sons Tolu Obey where the musician was seen singing with pleasure and happiness to confirm his health status. In the video, his son Tolu said “Praise the Lord! This is Baba Obey here and alive. He is life and direct” and then proceeded to ask his father to address his fans and sing for them.
The chief commander said, “Well, I give thanks to God almighty, I am hale and hearty, ko si nkan to se mi o, alaafia ni mo wa. I am fine”.
Tolu then went on to confirm that the 78-year old juju veteran turned gospel singer is healthy and at home in good condition.
Ebenezer Obey, in a career littered with awards and honours, released several albums including the monster hit Board Members among others.
