He returned to Walford just last week, rising from the ‘dead’ after a stint in prison, which left his on-screen loved ones believing he had been murdered.

But there’s only more drama in store for EastEnders’ Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) as Tuesday evening’s episode is set to see him lash out at crime boss Jonah (Mark Mooney).

As his return from prison means he has also returned to his portfolio of businesses, including club Peggy’s, Phil is on a mission to get his ducks in a row once again.

But following a recent robbery at the nightclub, he’s keen to get to the bottom of the incident – meeting Jonah at the Queen Vic pub to confront him.

Unfortunately for Phil, the raid was an inside job – as his sister Sam orchestrated the event with Jonah as the pair worked together for Sam to take over the business.

In a bid to protect his family, an unknowing Phil lashes out at Jonah in the new snaps – throwing a bar stool at the drug lord as things turn violent.

Jonah ducks to avoid the stool, while other pub goers, including Phil’s son Ben, are caught in the crossfire as they watch the drama unfold.

While the gangster suffers the brunt of Phil’s anger, it actually all falls down to Sam – who Jonah only made a deal with after being promised a taking from the Mitchell empire.

But the underdog of the Mitchell family is still managing to lay low, playing the hero as the town believe she is innocent.

She’s been held in high regard since saving Kat Slater’s (Jessie Wallace) life during the Peggy’s siege, with everyone unaware she was behind it in the first place.

And after attempting to convince Kat to sign Peggy’s over to Jonah (AKA herself), Sam is walking on thin ice as she tiptoes to avoid Phil’s wrath.
