Elizabeth Hurley offered sultry content in abundance on Saturday as she marked the emergence of her series The Royals on Netflix.

The actress, 56, starred in E!’s soap opera from 2015 until it was cancelled after four seasons in 2018.

With the show now gracing streaming giant Netflix, Elizabeth delighted her mammoth Instagram fanbase with a string of alluring snaps from filming, which featured her in racy lingerie, a maid’s outfit and mesh nightie.

The glamorous model was also pictured heavily made up in a white robe with what appeared to be a script in her hand.

It was not just solo shots of the beauty queen that were included in the album, as she also shared photographs with Dame Joan Collins, her lookalike son Damian, Alex Parks, Jake Maskall and Victoria Ekanoye.

Elizabeth was the persona behind Queen Helena Henstridge in the series – a fictional contemporary queen consort of England – and gushed over the happy memories she had acquired from her time on the show.

The Royals was E!’s first scripted series and began as a loose adaptation of the 2011 Michelle Ray novel Falling for Hamlet. 

The post comes after Elizabeth lost out on being named this year’s sexiest female celebrity over the age of 50 to Kylie Minogue.

The I Should Be So Lucky hitmaker, 53, came out on top with 35 percent of the vote after beating strong competition from second-placed Elizabeth and former Friends star Jennifer Aniston 53, who finished third. 

The poll was carried out by over 50s dating site Ourtime to establish which 50-plus celebrities their subscribers would most want to date. 

Predictable female entries included actress Nicole Kidman, 54, in fifth place, British presenter Tess Daly, 53, in seventh and acting legend Dame Helen Mirren, 76, in tenth.
