Yesterday, 20th of November made it exactly one month after men of the Nigerian Army opened live rounds on peaceful #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki Tollgate.
Reports had it that no less than 15 people died as a result of the #LekkiMassacre while many others sustained various degrees of gunshot wounds.
A Twitter user, with the display name, “Series Abiodun” tattooed the date of the incident on his chest with the question the Nigerian government have refused to answer; “Who gave the order?”
He also tattoed the picture of a popular female activist, Aisha Yesufu on his arm.
Another Twitter user, “ChimagozieLam” also tattooed; “Black Tuesday 20.10.20” on his right arm.
While the Nigerian authorities as well the Nigerian keep denying the fatalities of the incident, a most-recent special report by popular international media, CNN shows how men of the Nigerian Army shot directly at the protesters.
In as much as the Nigerian Government is shying away from taking responsibility for the fatalities of the incident, the memories of the #LekkiMassacre remain fresh as the morning dew in the minds of Nigerians.
