Desmond Elliot has come under severe and fierce criticism on social media app, Twitter for his comments on the #EndSARS protest and the recent turn of events in Lagos.
The Lawmaker who represents Surulere constituency believes that the use of social media especially by celebrities played a huge role in the recent violence that took place in Lagos after the #EndSARS protest.
He lamented that a lot of young people used social media to abuse political leaders during the #EndSARS protest.
He also insinuated that celebrities and other popular figures are fueling hatred in society via the use of social media.
