Jules Robinson and Melissa Lucarelli became best friends after appearing on Married At First Sight’s sixth season together, before dramatically falling out shortly after.

And this week, the feuding friends narrowly missed an awkward run-in with each other at Australian Fashion Week in Sydney.

An onlooker told Daily Mail Australia that the pair both attended the same fashion show on Thursday, but were strategically seated on opposites sides of the runway.

The reality stars made an effort to avoid each other by sticking close to their own cliques of friends.

Jules was spotted swanning around with aspiring socialite Suzan Mutesi, while Mel mingled with male fashion blogger Matthew Neville and model Lyndl Kean.

The former friends both showed up for Fashion Week on Friday too, but were able to miss each other yet again.

However, onlookers said there was a chill in the air whenever the two passed each other at the various events, and even a few icy glares were exchanged from each side.

Not to be outdone by her old pal, stylish Mel rocked black trousers and a matching blazer on Thursday, which she paired with nude heels and a designer bag.

Mel and Jules had a dramatic falling out after Jules dumped Mel from her bridal party and disinvited her to her real life wedding to Cam Merchant, despite publicly asking Mel to be her bridesmaid on the Married At First Sight finale.

Jules never provided a reason for the dumping, and brushed off questions about it when asked by reporters during her televised wedding special A Current Affair.

‘Do you know what, in response to that question, all that matters is my nearest and dearest are here right now,’ she sniped.

Mel opened up about her falling out with Jules on the Dames Who Dish podcast last year.

‘I was like the third wheel with those two,’ Mel said of her relationship with Cam and Jules, adding that they were all based in Sydney and often spend time together.

‘It literally came out of nowhere, just before the wedding she dumped me. Her reasoning was that we didn’t really see each other much after the show, which was so false it’s not even funny.

‘Her other bridesmaids lived in London and Heidi [Latcham] lived in another state. So she literally even saw me more than anyone.’

She added: ‘It was really upsetting to me because I thought we had this amazing friendship and she was acting like it didn’t even happen.’
