Manchester United did the double over Bulgarian side; Partizan Belgrade as they rounded off a brilliant performance with a 3-0 win to remain on top of Group L with 10 points after four games. The home side started the match like a house on fire but failed to convert all of their chances with Marcus Rashford being guilty of missing three chances in the first twenty minutes if the game.
However, 18-year-old Mason Greenwood scored the first goal for the Red Devils as the young striker slots in the ball calmly. The second goal came via Anthony Martial as the French Man, with beautiful footwork went past three defenders en route to his goal which made it 2-0 in favor of the Reds Devils.
Marcus Rasfford redeemed himself after his missed chances in the first half with a brilliant left-footed strike to seal the victory for the team. It was indeed a an all-round good performance by the team and they will look to continue in this goal-scoring form when they face Brighton this Sunday.
The trio of Martial, Rashford, and Greenwood had a very good partnership on the night as both English men flanked Martial going forward but the question is, Can this trio deliver more goals on a consistent level for the Red Devils?
