It comes after Harry dismissed speculation his new song Daylight is about his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, who he briefly dated between 2012 and 2013.
The singer laughed off talk that he has penned a track about his former flame, because it shares a title with one of the pop star’s own songs.
Although Harry confirmed the song was about a woman who hadn’t responded the way he’d hoped, he dismissed DJ Howard Stern’s theory that it was about Taylor.

Howard noted: ‘You’re smiling’.
But his SiriusXM guest replied: ‘You know I’d love to tell you you’re spot-on, but you’re not. We will always wonder.’
Harry said the track is one of his favourites, resulting from a late night ‘stream of consciousness’ moment in the studio that he’s glad he stayed up to capture.
Everyone was ready to go to bed after a long session but Harry recalled how they: ‘Had to find a way to finish this now’, knowing it wouldn’t be the same in the morning. So, they stayed up all night to finish it and celebrated by watching the sun rise on the beach.
Taylor, 32, released a track called Daylight on her seventh studio album Lover in 2019, setting tongues wagging that Harry’s track was a nod to his ex.

The former One Direction star also played coy when quizzed about hid current partner, actress-and-director Olivia Wilde, 48.
Harry, who said he had a ‘wonderful’ experience being directed by Olivia, on the upcoming psychological film Don’t Worry Darling, was asked directly if he fell in love with her on the set.
‘Oh, wow… how to answer this question?’ he said.
But the X Factor star was quick to heap praise onto the filmmaker during the interview.
Harry explained to the New York-based radio show: ‘Acting is kind of very uncomfortable at times.

‘I think you have to trust a lot. It requires a lot of trust if you want to kind of give it everything, and I think being able to trust your director is a gift, so that was very helpful.’
The Watermelon Sugar hitmaker added that all of this combined ‘meant for a really nice experience’ working on the film, which has a scheduled release date for September 23.
Harry remained tight-lipped when Howard asked if another track on the album, Cinema – which includes the line ‘if you’re getting yourself wet for me I guess you’re all mine’ – was about Olivia.
He said: ‘Most of the time when I write songs they kind of start out as, like, I guess mine.
‘It’s important to write from whatever you’re going through at the time.’
Recent reports have suggested that Olivia and Harry are getting very serious after she introduced the pop star to her two children, Otis, seven, and Daisy, five.
Insiders have claimed that despite it looking like a ‘showbiz hook up’ at first, it has become clear that the loved-up couple are much more than that.
Harry, who has previously dated a slew of celebrity girlfriends, has allegedly never been so serious about anyone before, reports The Sun.
A source said: ‘This looked like quite a showbizzy thing at first, two glamorous people hooking up but now it’s obviously a lot more than that.
‘They held back a bit at first but now that things are more settled the time was right to do the next thing.
Turning serious? It was recently reported that Harry is ‘slowly’ getting to know the children of his girlfriend Olivia almost a year into their relationship (Olivia pictured in April)
‘It’s really exciting for them – and for Harry it’s the most serious he has ever really been about somebody.’
