President Mohammadu Buhari has sent a condolence message to the victims of the pipeline line explosion at Abule-Ado/Festac area of Lagos.
The pipeline exploded early morning on Sunday as smoke engulfed the area and some eye witnesses said the explosion shook some houses around the scene causing loss of properties.
In a tweet posted on his verified Twitter handle, President Buhari wrote this:
I received with sadness the news of the explosion in Lagos, which caused loss of lives and property. While the NNPC makes efforts to determine the cause of the incident, I send my deepest sympathies to the victims, their families, and the Government and people of Lagos State.

However, the President’s condolence tweet didn’t go down well with some Lagosians who were quick to bash the President for his lack of urgency and sensitivity as regards the incident.
While others criticised the President Buhari for sending his condolence message twelve hours after the incident, others dragged the President in the “mud” for not providing adequate solutions to the country’s current challenges.
Here are some of the reactions of angry Lagosians on Twitter:
Worse president ever

One will recall that this is the second pipe-line explosion in Lagos this year. The first was behind Diamond Estate/Idowu Egba area of Igando Lagos.
General Muhammadu Buhari lacks the competency and the capacity to be a president of a country. His reactions and responses to matters that affects human lives in this country is nothing to write home about. He shows lackadaisical attitude that makes one to always thinks whether Nigeria truly has a leader that has the love of his citizens at heart. I pity for our conditions.
