ITV’s new show The Games raked in a peak of 2.5 million viewers on the launch of its first episode on Monday. 

And host Holly Willoughby was seen gearing up for another night of presenting the hit show as she arrived at the London Aquatics Centre on Tuesday.

The presenter, 41, looked effortlessly chic as she paired a grey blazer with a black lace front top and skinny jeans.

She added to the look with wayfarer shades and a pair of Chanel ballet flats worth £660.  

An average 2.1 million tuned in to see the presenter and co-host Freddie Flintoff on Monday, when they were joined in the studio by two-time world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

The Games sees celebrities compete against each other in a series of Olympic-style events.

Spotted arriving for the second day of the competition were the glitzy competitors, including Love Island alum Olivia Attwood, 30, and model Christine McGuinness, 34.  

Olivia looked ready for action in a grey sports bra and matching track-bottoms, which she accessorised with a Louis Vuitton duffel bag and bulky sliders from the designer.

She threw a cream sweater over her shoulders, carrying a huge blue water bottle in one hand.

On Monday, Holly looked flawless in an asymmetric draped top with stripe detail for her debut show, teaming the look with a pair of fitted black trousers while she elevated her height with a pair of Gianvito Rossi heels.

Wes topped the leader board on the night while Chelcee Grimes stormed the women’s 100m race.

The songwriter, 30, was neck-and-neck with Mel B ‘s daughter Phoenix Chi, 23, and admitted she knew the celebrity offspring would be one to watch in her winner’s speech.

Stealing the show as she beat her rivals to the finishing line, she had been up against Rebecca, Olivia, Christine and Lucrezia.

In the men’s hammer competition, Ryan Thomas was crowned the winner with a throw of 28.91m after he competed against Wes, Colson, Kevin, Josh Herdman and Max George.

For the synchronised diving round, Wes and Lucrezia bagged themselves a place on the top of the leaderboard with their attempt at a backwards dive.

In the men’s 400m, Wes also took first place with 57.58 seconds while Josh took second place.

Max, who sustained an injury, limped over the line after the Love Island star collapsed on the floor in relief.

All have been pulled out of their comfort zones to be coached as athletes, swimmers and cyclists to compete in the hope of coming top of the medals table and being crowned the winners.

As the leader board takes shape with each night, the series will culminate in an exhilarating final showdown in which one male champion and one female champion will be crowned.

Hosted live by Holly and Freddie, The Games also sees former professional footballer and presenter Alex Scott as trackside reporter and former professional football player and presenter Chris Kamara as commentator.
