Horrific video shows boy, 2, sob for his dad and scream ‘No!’ as nanny FORCE-FEEDS him

Horrific video shows boy, 2, sob for his dad and scream 'No!' as nanny FORCE-FEEDS him 2

A North Carolina couple happened to tune into their nanny cam at the nightmarish moment their vetted babysitter held their toddler’s arms behind his back, force-feeding him as he sobbed and called out for his father.

Declan Oglesby’s father, Max Oglesby, and his stepmom Laura Oglesby were stunned to see Lauren Rowe shoving the food into the toddler’s mouth while caring for him at their New Bern home on Tuesday night.

In the footage, Declan screams for help and kicks wildly as Rowe holds his wrists behind his high chair, spoons bites of a chicken pot pie into his mouth – then holds the toddler’s mouth closed. He yells ‘No!’ and yelled ‘Daddy’ over and over.

They shared the footage to Facebook and notified cops, who’ve now arrested Rowe and charged her with misdemeanor child abuse.

‘We are all emotionally drained by this whole experience,’ the boy’s stepmother, Laura Oglesby, wrote on Facebook after Rowe’s arrest.

‘Our main goal now is to make sure this sticks to her like glue so she can’t ever do this sort of thing to a child, dog, or person in general ever again.’

Max Oglesby said the footage he posted to social media was just ‘a small clip of the two hours [Rowe] spent doing this to our son.’

‘And I wasn’t there,’ Max told Dailymail.com. ‘S*** hurts.’

Oglesby wrote that they had made the ‘tough’ decision to hire a nanny for a few days each week while they renovated their bar in nearby Washington, North Carolina an hour away. When they took a break from painting the floors and checked their nanny cam footage, they couldn’t look away from the live broadcast, and began recording.

The pair raced to the car and called the boy’s birth mother, who lives close by, to go to the house while they traveled.

‘I wanted to kick her a**,’ said Laura Oglesby, the boy’s stepmother, to WITN-TV.

‘I wanted to come here and pin her down and I wanted to put food in her mouth.’

In the footage, the parents say, Rowe tells someone on the phone that ‘If we didn’t control our two-year-old, he would walk all over us.’

After the incident, Laura sent the nanny the footage she had captured of the abuse, along with a text message that never received a response:

‘You are no longer needed to nanny for us, and my suggestion is that you don’t nanny at all until you learn how to patiently handle children,’ she wrote.

‘The way you handled Declan tonight in the high chair trying to force feed him is textbook child abuse… You broke a mother’s heart tonight.’

In the clip, the nanny tells the child repeated to ‘eat his food’ as he weeps, telling him that he can only get down from his high chair once he’s ‘taken a bite.’

‘We are learning today,’ she shouts at the child in the clip. ‘You need to learn that you need to eat your food, and then we can be all done.’

Max said that his son’s arms were bruised after the encounter.

‘You don’t expect it to happen to yours,’ said Max told the Sun Journal.

‘[Rowe] was recommended to my wife on a Facebook group for New Bern moms. She’s got a check on freaking care.com. I feel like we took the right steps.’

The Facebook post now has more than 2,300 comments and 5,300 shares.

Rowe was released after posting a $2,500 secured bond, according to WITN-TV, and her next court date is on November 8th.

Her bond was placed just 30 minutes after her arrest, and she has two additional upcoming court dates, the Sun reported: one on Nov. 19 for speeding, a revoked registration tag and reckless driving, and another on Dec. 2 for driving a car without valid registration.
