The nefarious activities of suspected Fulani herdsmen in the South of the country especially continues to rise as the day go by as those lucky enough to escape their onslaughts recount their experiences.
A Twitter user identified as “Skilla” took to his page to narrate how he barely escaped death from gunmen whom he claimed to be Fulani Herdsmen.Â
According to his testimony, the Fulani Herdsmen took him and another man who was eventually shot dead in his car inside a bush but he found a way to escape.
He added that the incident happened around Akara Road, a few meters after Isuikwator road signboard in Abia State.

The increased criminal activities of the Fulani Herdsmen in the South has promoted the subregional governors in the Southwest to place a ban on open grazing in the region.
Recall that a Yoruba activist, one Sunday Igboho gave herders in Igangan, Ibarapa Local Government a seven days ultimatum to leave the community after a prominent figure, Dr Aborode was killed by suspected armed herdsmen.
