The promo features viewers of the corridors, camera crews and backstage rooms, giving viewers a glimpse of those who help to deliver 7.5 hours of live television viewing every weekday, kicking off with GMB at 6am and ending with the conclusion of Loose Women at 1.30pm.

The promo, which boasts the tagline ‘Every day from every angle’, saw the Television Centre in White City, London captured from a cinematic angle thanks to the state-of-the art drone which weighs less than 250g.

It was produced by ITV’s Daytime Promo Department, with the drone in good hands as drone operator Andrew Lawrence was the mastermind behind the stunning shots of shots of Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean ice skating during a recent routine on Dancing on Ice.

Olivia Heriot-Walker, Creative Head for Promos and Commercial at ITV Studio Daytime said of the new clip: ‘The promo was filmed one morning between shows and during commercial breaks under the direction of Aaron Bott.

‘Our drone operator Andrew had to wear a headset to see the same perspective as the drone to allow precise movements in tight interior spaces, and Matt Creed, our Dubbing Mixer, later added each programmes’ title music with genuine broadcast noises all recorded live from the galleries.

‘It was great to work with all of the talent and crews to capture this alternative perspective within the exciting studio environment.’
