Jamie Lynn Spears uploaded a loving birthday post on her Instagram to celebrate her daughter’s 14th birthday.
Maddie Aldridge is Jamie’s first child, whom she shares from a previous relationship with Casey Aldridge. The actress and singer has a second child, Ivey, with current husband, Jamie Watson.
The Zoey 101 star had Maddie when she was a teenager, and their mother-daughter bond seems to be stronger than ever.

The 31-year-old shared a series of photos of her teenage daughter, from days when she was younger, to current day.
Jamie typed out a long and heart-tugging caption to express how proud she is of her daughter and most importantly, how much she loves her.
The caption started out with, ‘I can’t believe it. My baby is 14 today, and I’m so thankful for each and every day I get to be her mama, even during these teenage years lol.’

‘She has been my saving grace, since the day she was born, and continues to be, but seeing how hard she works, how much she cares, and the example she sets for her sister is what makes me so proud to be her mom,’ the caption continued.
Jamie closed out the birthday tribute by typing, ‘I love you Maddie. Happy 14th birthday.’
The Things I Should Have Said author shared the post not long after her sister, Britney Spears, tied the knot with Sam Asghari earlier this month in June.

Britney said, ‘I do,’ in her gorgeous California home in front of a star-studded guest list, including Paris Hilton and Selena Gomez.
However, her family was not invited, including her father, mother, and younger sister Jamie Lynn. The two sisters had a very publicized social media spar that has appeared to end most communication between them.
The main cause of the fight was revolved around her conservatorship, which finally ended last year in November. Jamie’s novel and memoir, Things I Should Have Said, also contributed to the big argument.

Although Jamie Lynn was not sent an invitation to attend the wedding, she still showed some support for her older sister.
According to People, the Toxic singer’s mother, Lynn, added a comment to an Instagram post showing the newlyweds together.
‘You look so radiant and happy! Your wedding is the ‘Dream’ wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special. I am soooo happy for you! I love you!’ her mother stated.
Jamie did not contribute to the comments, but she did like the series of pictures captured of the nuptials.
The following day, the Sweet Magnolias actress shared a photo of her daughter, Ivey, wearing a uniform, putting her focus on family rather than further drama.
