Armed Bandits suspected to be loyalists of one of the factional leaders of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau, in the early hours of Wednesday morning stormed Government Science College Kagara in Niger State and subsequently kidnapped unconfirmed number of students and staffs.
This incident comes days after armed men kidnapped over 21 commuters in Zungeru area of Rafi Local Government Area of the state.
They were abducted while travelling in the state-owned transport service on the 14th of February.
The armed bandits, in a video circulating online were seen with sophisticated weapons such as the Rocket Propelled Launcher and other assault rifles as they threatened their captives.
Recall that over 300 Kankara Boys were kidnapped by some armed bandits from Katsina State in 2020 but were released some days later.
