Just In: Gunmen kidnap two final year students of University of Calabar

Two students from the University of Calabar in Cross Rivers State have been kidnapped by gunmen suspected of being kidnappers.

According to Cross River Watch, the victims were a final-year radiography student named John Edet and a final-year female marketing student named Joy.

During the incident, it was reported that a female naval rating reportedly evaded being abducted.

The gunmen, however, took her bag, which contained her identity card and other valuables.

The university has not yet responded to the event.
