Her daughter Lila recently called her ‘old and boring’ and accused her of ‘stealing’ her tracksuits in a new interview as she made her debut on cover of Vogue last week.

But Kate Moss looked anything but as she nailed casual chic after landing at FK Airport in New York on Thursday.

The supermodel, 48, was joined by boyfriend Nikolai von Bismarck, 35, and Lila, 19, who was dressed in the same tracksuit outfit she accused her mother of swiping from her wardrobe.

Ever the fashionista, Kate looked stylish in a simple black sweater, teamed with a coordinating cargo jacket and leggings.

The beauty swapped her catwalk heels and carried two black handbags as she stood outside the airport with her photographer partner of seven years.

Kate, who donned black-rimmed glasses, left her blonde locks loose and went make-up free beneath her face mask.

The star also showcased her generous side as she was seen getting a $50 tip ready for a porter who helped with her luggage.

Meanwhile, Lila opted for a dressed down look, teaming a cosy cream hoody with matching slouchy bottoms and white trainers.

She swept her blonde locks into an up do, while carrying a large black handbag under her arm.

It comes after the stunner landed her first ever cover shoot for global fashion bible Vogue.

The daughter of catwalk veteran Kate Moss made a provocative style statement from the equally provocative British heritage brand Loewe in a vibrant shoot, conducted by photographer Steven Meisel.

Wearing a translucent silk and resin top, Lila’s unconventional debut shoot suggests she’s keen to go her own way as a model, rather than emulate her mother.

Speaking about growing up in the spotlight, Lila confessed that she was shocked by the attention surrounding her mother, admitting that she was surprised her friends even knew who she was.

She explained: ‘I went to secondary school and everyone was like, “Oh, your mum’s Kate Moss!” You don’t really have a filter when you’re that young and I was like, ”How do you know who she is? She’s old! She’s old and boring!”‘

Adding more about her relationship with her mother, Lila told the fashion bible: ‘I was quite protective over my mum.

‘All my mum’s friends say that I was so scary as a child. I was quite serious. But also, I would always copy her. She would always have her head down and not look at the camera, so I’d always put my head down and not look at the camera. I still do it.’

Yet Lila revealed that with time she’s come to realise just how influential her mother is in the fashion world, saying: ‘In the last three or four years, I’ve realised that her style is actually really cool. I’m having to admit it now.’

The teenager went on to note that while she steals Kate’s Saint Laurent coats and her Chanel 2.55 bags, her supermodel mother often swipes her Adidas tracksuits.

Lila explained: ‘She doesn’t have a good trackies selection. She only has pyjamas. She probably would hate me saying that. She doesn’t want anyone to know she wears trackies!’

Lila’s father is journalist Jefferson Hack, with whom Kate was in a relationship in the early Noughties.

Jefferson and Kate – who dated from 2001 to 2004 with Lila being born in 2002 – have an amicable relationship and would ensure their daughter spent a regular amount of time with each of them in her childhood.
