Kemi Adetiba sets release date for “King of Boys 2 : The Return of the King”

Popular filmmaker and director, Kemi Adetiba has set the release date for the second installment of Netflix series, King of Boys: The return of the King.”

Kemi Adetiba took to her Twitter page to announce the premiere of the movie with fans who have been expectant since she dropped a hint about the second part of the movie last September.

Her post read:

“You can now confidently set your reminders & refresh your NETLFIX accounts. KOB 2 is officially landing on August 27th, 2021. No going back.”

“KOB 2 is no longer called KING OF BOYS 2.”

 

“Why? Cos it’s not a FILM. ”

“It’s NETFLIX’S FIRST ORIGINAL SERIES OUT OF NIGERIA & a 7-PART.”

“King of Boys”  mirrors the delicate tussle for power and dominance between a Woman, Eniola Salami the “king of Boys” and some of her opponents within a political space.

Eniola Salami is a rich businesswoman who also serves as the head of a criminal gang who serves as a political instrument in the hands of the state.

After a police detective, Inspector Gobir recused her from being burnt to death in prison, Eniola Salami who had already lost her two children after a court trial, escapes to Brooklyn, New York where she continues to control the order of “things” at home from her end.
