Kwara state government says eating Amala can’t cure Coronavirus
The Kwara State governments has revealed that eating local delicacy Amala will not help cure the deadly Coronavirus.
Citizens of the state have been spreading rumours that eating Amala is a precautionary way to prevent Coronavirus.
However, Kwara State Ministry of Health, Permanent Secretary, Dr. Abubakar Ayinla has revealed that the news regarding Amala as a cure for Coronavirus is totally false.
The Kwara State government has instilled a lockdown policy to help combat the widespread of Coronavirus.
The review means that commercial and private vehicles are now barred from operating, except trucks and trailers conveying food stuffs, medicines and other essential services earlier exempted by the government in its effort to contain COVID-19.
