Kyly Clarke is appearing on an upcoming TV show – as a contestant. 

The former WAG announced on Friday that she will be joining Australian Warrior Ninja, and taking on the infamous course. 

The 40-year-old shared an image of herself on the show’s set and revealed she trained hard to take part.

‘EXCITING NEWS. Recently I was asked to enter @ninjawarriorau and after a long hard chat to myself, and the understanding that I would need to shake off my fear of heights and the pure fact that I would never in my wildest dream think that I could do any part of the course, I SAID YES!’ she wrote in a long caption. 

‘Let’s be real, my first comment back was “Um I prefer to watch the experts while on my couch eating”. For me it’s all in the name of charity. 

‘Excited to be a part of the family and give it all I’ve got for a great cause.’

She continued: ‘This is me completely stepping out of my comfort zone, testing myself, my limits and knowing 100% that I need to build so much strength in my training to hold my own weight, conquer my fears and give it a red hot go!’

Kyly added that she will begin appearing on the show on Monday 27th June 27th on Channel Nine. 

The television personality added that she wanted to ‘show my daughter that sometimes you just have to give it a go because you never know just what you might be capable of.’

She shares a daughter, Kelsey Lee Clarke, six, with retired cricketer Michael Clarke, 41.

She showed off her sensational physique for the cover of Body + Soul magazine in January to celebrate reaching her fitness goals.

Inside, she revealed she was aiming to have the ‘best legs she’s ever had’ when she started her fitness journey.

‘I’m never going to be 20 again, I don’t want to be, but I want to work with what I have,’ she said.

‘I’d be really proud of myself if people were to think that I was a role model of someone who’s 40 and can still achieve their fitness goals.’
