Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen has revealed that he has welcomed another grandchild in a sweet Instagram post on Monday.

The TV personality, 57, held onto his ‘sweet woodland creature of a granddaughter’ after his daughter Hermione, 24, gave birth. 

The Changing Rooms star donned a simple black shirt as he cuddled up to the newborn – clad in a patterned babygro – and smiled.

Sharing the news with his 35,500 followers, Laurence wrote: ‘……So this UNBELIEVABLY sweet woodland creature of a Granddaughter has shown the very good taste to today join ClanLLB………’ 

Elsewhere his wife Jackie tweeted about the exciting announcement as she penned: ‘Feeling quite emotional and very proud to welcome another granddaughter to our family.

The pair became grandparents when their second daughter Cecile, 27,  gave birth to son Albion in 2017. She is also understood to have had a baby girl last October.

The media personality, who is best known for his home designs, also helped create outfits for his wife Jackie, also 56, and eldest daughter Cecile for the big day.

Hermione married her fiancé, 24, at the 12th century Church Of St John The Baptist in Cirencester, having changed their original plans due to coronavirus restrictions.

The father-daughter duo revealed they wanted the dress to be ‘architectural and youthful’ – with the look comprising a white satin dress with a nipped-in waist, sweetheart neckline and a little white velvet cape with a [fake] fur trim’.

The Changing Rooms host told Hello! magazine the dress was ‘very big, very flourishy and very us’ but that there was ‘realness to it too’.

He said: ‘I was very keen that Hermione should wear something elegant. She needed something architectural and youthful.’

Laurence has long-been known for his garish style, complete with wild patterned suits, his famous lustrous locks and much more. 

In 2015, he spoke to The Guardian about his style, saying: ‘Men today do not understand the power of wardrobe. I think about what I wear…

‘I am essentially a brand these days, so it is important my customers feel the figurehead of the brand is empowered to make design decisions. I can’t do that in a onesie. It takes balls to be a dandy.’

So iconic are his clothes that last year one of Laurence’s suits was put up for auction to raise money for The Churn Project, who support people at risk from isolation and loneliness in Cirencester and surrounding villages. 

The star selected a suit, shirt and tie made iconic on-screen to help raise funds.
