LAWMA street sweepers remove uniforms and dump them on the street in protest over 3 months salary (video)
Employees of the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) in protest have dumped their official attire in public.
LAWMA employees are in charge of waste disposal and cleaning of state-owned roads and are usually identified wearing their orange jumpsuit.
However, according to several reports they have not been paid their salaries for over three months.
In protest to their financial problems they came together to down tools and dump their attire.
According to the Lagos State Government, the LAWMA employees have not been paid due to fraud discovered for several ghost workers after an audit
