Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu said nonody gave the order for the CCTV camera at the Lekki toll gate to be taken off hours before mem of the Nigerian Army opened fire on the peaceful #EndSARS protesters on Tuesday evening.

He said he spoke to the Lekki Construction Company when he was informed that the cameras had been taken off and he was told that the cameras were removed because of the curfew announced by the state government earlier that day.

However, he said the cameras at the lekki toll gate are not security cameras but infrared cameras that picks up plate numbers and front tags of cars.

Governor Sanwo-Olu said this in a video interview with ARISE News television some moments ago.
