Exes Gemma and Jacques’ hearts raced the most for each other during the striptease challenge in Tuesday’s Love Island… with the rugby ace admitting he had sex flashbacks after seeing her in stockings and suspenders.

Michael Owen’s daughter, 19, and her former flame, 23, were left red faced when the announcement was read out… but just hours before their true feelings were exposed, the pair feuded over the reason for their split with Gemma telling Jacques to ‘f**k off’ after he called her ‘a clown’.

Having come face-to-face earlier in the series following the end of their relationship ‘a year and a half ago’, Gemma insisted she couldn’t trust him, but Jacques hit back saying, ‘I didn’t give you any reason not to trust me!’

She fought back, ‘There’s no point in us having this conversation cos you’re gonna say one thing and I’m gonna say another. If you don’t have anything nice to say you can f**k off.’

Walking off, Jacques said: ‘You’re a clown. Shut up,’ before she asked, ‘What?’

However, it seems their tiff didn’t damage their lingering feeling for one another since it was soon revealed that both their hearts raced the fasted for the other in the striptease challenge.

Luca’s heart raced the most for Gemma, for Charlie it was Indiya, Jay: Gemma, Dami: Paige, Davide: Ekin Su, Andrew: Danica and Jacques: Gemma.

Meanwhile, for Danica got most excited for Davide, Paige: Luca, Indiya: Andrew, Tasha: Andrew, Antigoli: Jacqyes, Ekin Su: Luca, Gemma: Jacques.

Afterwards, an upset Paige confronted her partner over the result of the challenge, with him confessing: ‘It brought a flashback, if you’ve slept with someone of course it’s gonna happen.’
