The Anambra State Police Command have arrested a 21-year-olf man for allegedly stabbing his landlord to death after the latter complained about the high number of girls he brings to the compound.
The suspect identified as Nonso Umeadi Oyiboka reportedly committed the crime at Ogidi Ani-Etiti in Idemili North LGA of the state.
It was gathered that the deceased had a short quarrel with the suspect over “bringing of too many women into the compound”. However, the short scuffle escalated which led to the death of the landlord.
The Command’s spokesperson, SP Haruna Mohammed said the suspect was arrested on the 6th of October after he stabbed his landlord, Umeadi Oyiboka, 35 multiple times on his back which led to his death.
John B. Abang, the state’s Commissioner of Police has ordered that the case be transferred to Criminal Investigation Department of the state for thorough findings after which the suspect will be charged to court.
