A South Melbourne man has scored a $1 million Lotto win after he held one of five division one winning entries in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw 4203
‘I found out on Saturday night after the draw. It was quite late at night, so I was half asleep when I checked my ticket,’ he explained.
‘At first I thought I might be seeing things, but then I took a closer look and realised what I was seeing.
‘Honestly, it was great! I was on my own at the time so I couldn’t really jump up and down and get too excited about it. But it was awesome knowing I’d won.’
He was thrilled about his windfall, but claimed he wasn’t surprised about winning as he always knew it would happen.
‘I just had this feeling it was going to happen, so when I saw I’d won, I wasn’t all that surprised,’ the man said.
‘It just felt like my time had come.’
The man said he shared a heartwarming moment with his friends and family when he called to tell them he had finally scored the division one prize.
But, the man’s partner wasn’t happy with his lack of animation over his newfound fortune.
‘My partner actually got up me because she said I wasn’t excited enough,’ he said.
‘But I told her it’s not that I am not excited, it’s just that I knew I was going to win one day, and I did.’
The elated man intends to spend his windfall by teeing up some luxury golf tours around the world and added he couldn’t wait to have fun

‘I love golf, so this is going to mean more time to enjoy that,’ he said.
‘I would love to play golf all around the world. So the plan is to buy some new golf gear and plan some really nice golf tours next year.’
Not all of it will be blown on extravagant golf trips and gear as he plans to invest some of his winnings.
South Melbourne Lotto owner Chris Wilson was shocked when he heard his shop sold the winning ticket and told all his customers about the joyful moment.
‘We’ve been sharing the news with all of our customers. All of them are so excited to hear we’d made one of our players an overnight millionaire,’ he said.
Mr Wilson said selling a division one winning entry was an exciting milestone for his store.
‘This is the first division one winning entry I have sold since I took ownership about four years ago,’ he said.
The winning numbers drawn on Saturday were 32, 16, 29, 26, 30 and 4, while the supplementary numbers were 43 and 37
