Ministers that are not performing will be sacked Buhari warns
There is news about Muhammadu Buhari President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
After Buhari sacked Minister of Agriculture, Mohammed Nanono, and Power Minister, Saleh Mamman, he reiterated his cabinet reshuffling mood isn’t a one-off and will be continuous.
Since he was elected for the first term in office in 2015, it is the first time Buhari would be reshuffling his cabinet.
A statement by President said, “Change is the only factor that is constant in every human endeavor and as this administration approaches its critical phase in the second term, I have found it essential to reinvigorate this cabinet in a manner that will deepen its capacity to consolidate legacy achievements.
“Accordingly, a few cabinet changes, marking the beginning of a continuous process, have been approved.”
“I wish to reiterate once more, that this process shall be continuous.”
