He quickly scurries back to the cash register and returns the money before getting up and facing the camera again.

Stamp then puts his hands together in a praying position and slightly bows, as if to apologise to his mother, Bee Wassana.

Ms Wassana said: ‘I wonder where my son learned how to steal. But I believe I taught him well enough that he realised his action was wrong.’

She posted the video to TikTok on March 9 and it has already been liked 505,600 times.

Ms Wassana then posted a hilarious update showing Stamp’s younger brother copy exactly what he did but ‘missed some steps’ according to her.

The hysterical footage shows a much smaller boy running into the store, making a bee-line for the cash register.

He then grabs some money and immediately turns to the camera and apologises with the cash still in his hands before putting it back and running away.

And it’s not the first time a young child was caught in a hilarious attempt at shoplifting.

In 2019 a toddler wearing just a diaper was filmed by an onlooker going into a Circle K store and shoplifting at 2am.
