Nasir El-Rufai in awe as he meets Lamido Sanusi II in Awe 4 days after his dethroment (Photos)

Governor of Kaduna state: Mallam Nasir El-Rufai was in a state of Awe as he met with the deposed Emir of Kano; Lamido Mohammadu Sanusi II in Awe, Nasarawa State.

Nasir El-Rufai arrived at the residence of the former Emir in Awe at about 12:15 pm this afternoon and had a private meeting with him for about an hour before proceeding to the Kumar prayers alongside the Emir of Awe who had previously visited Lamido Sanusi II.

Lamido Sanusi was initially taken to Loko after his dethronement by Kano State Government on the 9th of March before he was moved to Awe.

One will recall that Mallam Nasir El-Rufai had earlier appointed Lamido Sanusi II as the Chancellor of Kaduna State University (Kasu) as well as the Vice-Chairman of Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA).

It has been rumored that the Lamido Sanusi might return to politics soon but it remains to be seen how things will unfold in the next couple of days, weeks, months or even years to come.
