Nigerian born Giannis Antetokoumpo named NBA MVP for 2nd season (video)
Nigerian born Giannis Antetokoumpo has been named the NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the 2019/20 regular season.
Giannis was named the MVP on Friday, September 18th.
Giannis led the Milwaukee Bucks to the best record in the Eastern Conference and NBA with 55 wins.
Giannis averaged 29.5 points, 13.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists to lead the Bucks.
It was the second time Giannis was named MVP as he won it last season.
Giannis also became the third player to win MVP and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season after Micahel Jordan in the 1987/88 season and Hakeem Olajuwon in the 1993/94 season.
