Nigerian reacts as CBN freezes accounts of EndSARS protesters
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has freezer the counts of key leaders of the protests to end the operations of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigerian Police Force.
The affected individuals include Bolatito Racheal Oduala, Chima David Ibebunjoh, Mary Doose Kpengwa, Saadat Temitope Bibi, Bassey Victor Israel, Wisdom Busaosowo Obi, Nicholas Ikhalea Osazele, Ebere Idibie, Akintomide Lanre Yusuf, Uhuo Ezenwanyi Promise and Mosopefoluwa Odeseye.
The freezing of their accounts was granted by Justice Ahmed Mohammed of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Nigerians are not happy with the CBN and President Muhammadu Buhari led administration.
They took to social media to vent their frustrations.
There were credible news of how Speaker of Lagos House of Assembly got 51million 11times in ONE DAY.
I’m yet to read of CBN restricting his accounts. But CBN freezes Pamilerin and Rinu accounts.
Infact it was frozen before they got a court order to do so. Imagine the insanity.

CBN has now become so idle that it's most pressing mandate is chasing the court for an order to freeze the accounts of 19 individuals and a company that supported the #EndSARS movement.
But ask them to strenghten the naira against the dollar and it's mission impossible!

The lawyer that argued this case for CBN, Former AGF Mr Kaase Aondoakaa was declared by the Court of Appeal in 2015 to be unfit to be AGF. The Court banned him from holding public office in Nigeria. He was the first lawyer to be stripped of the title of Senior Advocate of Nigeria https://t.co/0lCPG9W3f1

CBN knows how to freeze bank accounts of Nigerian Youths asking for a better Nigeria but cannot freeze the bank accounts of corrupt politicians embezzling funds meant to develop the country.

The protest need to resume at CBN, so that Mr. Emefiele will know that we own this country together. Minority elites where he belong cannot gag us. pic.twitter.com/vBa2YuYQMP
