Nigerians blast Presidency for its position on Southern Kaduna recent massacre! See reactions👇
Southern Kaduna has been in the spot light for most part of the year due to incessant killings of people in the region by suspected armed militias who some have claimed have links with the dreaded Boko Haram group.
A few days ago, about two dozens of people were killed and 31 severely injured in an attack that took place in Kakum Daji village in Kaura Local Government Area of the State.
The attackers reportedly stormed the village at about 10 p.m and opened fire on them at a wedding venue.
Reacting to the massacre, a State House Statement by the Presidency reads that Southern Kaduna enjoys optimum security deployments from the Armed Forces but the situation in Southern Kaduna are “revenge attacks” and are politically motivated as well.
From available security records, the problem in Southern Kaduna is an evil combination of politically-motivated banditry, revenge killings and mutual violence by criminal gangs acting on ethnic and religious grounds.

However, Nigerians think otherwise, some blame the Presidency for its incompetence while others believe the killings are targeted at Christians in the region!

What is politically motivated banditry for goodness sake? How can a president look on helplessly as "politicians" destabilise the nation, are they more powerful than the FG? A govt that rescues rustled cattle cannot rescue it's citizens, does it make sense?

Here lies the answer since you know the politicians that are arming the criminals for the revenge killings.
We are tire of the unending excuses.#SouthernKadunaAdvertisement— Edioñ (@edionsenyene) July 22, 2020
You know the killers and don't arrest them, yet you're venting nonsense about revenge. This is an open admission of complicity by the Buhari govt. @elrufai already told us about Fulani knowing how to revenge and the president has confirmed it 😔😔😔

Dozens massacred, 31 injured in fresh Southern Kaduna Kaduna attack! (Graphic photos)
This is a very irresponsible thing to say actually. Just stop banditry. These people are not armed in anyway but you want us to believe they're the aggressors and all what we hear about in the news are reprisals.
This is shameful.Advertisement— Bami.dele (@_T_DEL) July 22, 2020
So pathetic that the president is issuing a belated statement justifying the massacre of Christians in their sleep by state and presidency sponsored herders.

If you know it’s revenge killings, then you know who’s revenging and for what . So why not arrest the parties involved ? And there’s NOT a single point in this thread where JUSTICE on perpetrators is stressed. Can you really achieve peace without JUSTICE ? Who wrote this piece ?
